Asumming you don't have a second hacked device, the most popular one is the R4i Gold RTS. You also need a small magnet, or something that can trigger the sleep mode (if the console is an o2ds you don't need a magnet).

thanks i got just bought the R4i Gold RTS 30.11nzd was more then i wanted to pay but im still happy

i just wanted to know do i have to use the flash card when i want to use cfw or does it install it to the 3ds? and can i also install it on a friends 3ds?

After you install cfw using the flashcart, you don't need it anymore, unless you want to restore it and use its original function (play nds games). If you keep it flashed with ntrboot you can use it to hack as many devices as you please.

you use it to setup cfw on the system and yes you can use it to setup cfw on many systems (and after you can return it to a normal flashcard for .nds roms)

Hi, I use R4i RTS Gold. If you only have 1 NDS, you need 1 small micro sd card & 1 big micro sd card (32GB). And a magnet. After CFW install, no need anymore of the flashcard.

The best flashcart is r4i gold rts. you need about a 4gb sd card (minimum).

i got my ds lite and trying to flash it say it failed

edit works now using the dsi version on my dsi
