Gaming best DS FPS franchise

Honestly, I had the most fun with Fighting Fantasy. I ignored it for over a year until I was desperate to try something new. Then to my surprise I couldn't stop stabbing orcs for days.
fighting fantasy is fps?

It's first person something. XD Seriously, nobody pays attention to the genre if it's in first person, because there are so few first person games on the DS.

i knw, was just saying tho should i add to list?

FPS sucks period. None of them can hold a good gameplay unless...it was made by people who knows how to make FPS! Metroid is awesome, Perfect Dark remark on the DS!

I liked CoD on the DS, and I also liked Brothers in Arms DS multiplayer.
That was a long time ago though, but I remember it was some great fun playing it with my friend

To this day, I still have great fun with Metroid Prime: Hunters. It controlled well once you got used to the setup, it was no slouch when it came to difficulty, and it really showed off what the DS can do. Even four years later, nothing's managed to come close to Metroid DS, in my opinion.

Got the same feeling, but only with Mario Kart DS...
No other DS racing game has matched that, fantastic game and happy I paid 50 euros for it.

EDIT: Herp derp, didn't read the full title and thought it was just 'best DS franchise.' In that case, I'd say either Moon or Metroid prime.

although i voted Call of Duty, i'm really more inclined to vote for Metroid Prime Hunters. why?

Framerates. Sure, MPH have its moments of lag (but only when there's a TON happening in a tight place somewhere), it still plays and looks a LOT smoother than Call of Duty. it doesn't look choppy, unlike CoD. CoD is fun because of wifi and the genre (urban shooter), but there's definitely room for improvement graphics-wise. heck, they don't even need to polish the textures, just do something about the framerate and they'd be fine. MPH had it better and for me it plays a lot like Quake II/III (hectic and fast-paced), which is a ton of fun.

now, if only CoD had the same level of polish and fluidity as MPH, and maybe even the bot features of MPH for single-player skirmishes, now that would definitely take the cake.

and we need more of the likes of Fighting Fantasy. I liked that genre a lot (Hexen, King's something on PSX, some Might of Magic on the PC). i like melee combat with a FPS perspective. nothing like taking the stick to the face, heh.
