Best controller option for Twilight Princess

As the title suggests I have got a WiiU on it's way to me which I bought pretty much just to play Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD.
What's the preferred or best method to play them? Just the WiiU controller or is there a better method so I can get whatever is optimum ordered as well.

I have played both games with the gamepad and I can't say anything bad about it. The second screen is not necessary but ok.
The only downside is battery life but for me it was not really a problem.

The pro controller is also very good, but if you are jailbreaking the Wii U check out this app. With it you can connect a number of controllers and you can try your favorite

I played most of TP HD with the Pad, purely because the second screen does make inventory management a little easier, and the Pro controller doesn't have gyro for aim support.

And that's really the only noteworthy criteria and differences between the standard input methods.

Standard controller it is then, that's what I thought, having inventory management on the screen sounds useful after playing the ocarina on my 3DS and having the second screen made things a ton better that feature alone does it.
