Homebrew Best CIA-ftp client

I can't stand the MSD Management tool. Samba shares are gross, and none of the computers in my house run Windows. The latest version of ftbrony has worked without issue for me (although I cringe every time I run it). I don't get any drops in speed or connectivity issues, though I did have to port forward port 5000 and assign a static IP to my 3DS.

No, the MicroSD Management doesn't work with Linux (or at least not with Arch Linux). SMB/CIFS is a proprietary protocol that has all sorts of undocumented variants... it's a mess.

This command "works", but it's janky as fuck.

mount -t cifs //<name>/microSD /path/to/mount -o user=<username>,password=<password>,ip=<ipaddress>,servern=<name>

Yeah, I know how to mount it manually. And that does work ... but only kind of. Every time I do any file operation on the mounted file system (even a "ls") it disconnects right after. So it's totally useless.
Either way SMB is crap and at least FTP is consistent across operating systems.

What bandwagon? You seem upset. Go watch a couple episodes and suck your thumb so you'll calm down a bit. Also, I'm aware of those existing. Though I find it ironic you'd mention them since they were spawned from the "bandwagon". Sorry I don't understand the attraction to insipid tripe aimed at four year olds. Regardless, it seems to work better than your suggestions and I like the live log. Dunno if the other two have that, but meh.

I don't really hate bronies, though. I was just mocking the people who do. I've watched a few episodes of MLP and it isn't horrible.
