Where's all the Nanostray love these days? I still say it's one of the best games on the system... It seems almost like most people don't know it exists...
I'd say...
Mario Kart - You can't deny this, really... It's almost everything it could ever be. Only improvement to make is more glitches.
(I liked those wall-jumping tricks in MK64.)
Metroid Hunters - We needed a good online FPS. The DS should be chocked full of them... Where in hell are they?!
Akumajou Dracula - Yes, that's right. The Japanese one. It was indeed the superior region of the game.
Nanostray - You knew it was comming. Nanostray is still one of my favorite SHMUPS, and I've played it more than any DS game I can think of.
Puzzle Bobble DS - I shouldn't need to explain this. It's common sense, really.
Iron Feathers - It has nice animation on the characters, very nice sound, very nice atmosphere. Also, there's more tactics to it than people seem to be willing to admit. I haven't been able to do anything button mashing at all.
Kirby's Canvas Curse - A great game, no doubt. A real shocker to most of the community, too.
Mario 64 DS - A port of a classic, and a very good one, at that. New characters, new/modified levels, new stars... And it's not like Mario 64 isn't the best 3D Mario game so far.
Children of Mana - It's good. It's the first game I've seen with a proper 2D lightmap. If we could expand this with transparant shading sprited overtop of the regular sprites, it could look incredible.
New Super Mario Bros. - A good game. A very good game. A big disappointment, though. It doesn't feel like a Mario.
REDS - A pretty well done port of another classic. Not a marvel by any means, but still a fun game.
Xenosaga 1+2 - It gets a lot of hate, but it's a port of 2 PS2 games. That's gotta be respectable. On top of that, it's actually a fun game to play.(Immagine that... A Xenosaga that you don't just watch.)
Metroid Prime Pinball - It's a very good pinball game. Very very good.
Gouma Reifu Den Idzuna - It's good, actually. People were turned away by "Dungeon RPG", and never gave it a shot. I've even seen it called a Button Masher before, when it's not even in real-time. If you've ever played Dokapon, dungeon movement is like that. You take a step, so does every monster in the dungeon. Attacking lets the other monsters make one move, too. It's actually quite entertaining.
 Bust-A-Move DS - It's pretty good.
