now c'mon Triforce - youre so eager to show that you know what the Japanese games are that you left Mario Kart off. Now, I can see where that might not be in someone's top 5, but I can't see it being left off of anybody's Top 15, especially considering a couple of the ones you included.

Ya true but i felt i should show some games that others may not have tried. Mario Kart was good but could have been a lot better imo.

    Fuckin' blasphemy, mate.

01 - Mario Kart DS (never was a mario kart episode so much FUN)
02 - Kirby Canvas Curse / Power Paintbrush (I purchased my DS for this and warioware at first)
03 - Yoshi Touch'n'Go! (the perfect portable game : boring after thirty minutes, yet you keep coming back for more the next day)
04 - Phoenix Wright (I DARE YOU TO OBJECT)
05 - Lost in Blue (it's hard and long. mmmh...)
06 - Zoo Keeper (most local multiplayer fun in ages)
07 - Trauma Center (just... great.)
08 - Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! (DDR with the stick)
09 - New Super Mario Bros. (I only miss the feather, other than that, it's a bona-fide mario game. ie : no fucking water guzzler)
10 - Warioware Touched! (replay value let me down, hence this "low" place)
11 - Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow (yeah, metroidvanias aren't my type, but I burned a lotta hours on this one)
12 - Animal Crossing (got bored after a while)
13 - Another Code - Trace Memory (FOUR HOURS)
14 - Polarium (nobody else likes it so I hate you all)
    15 - Meteos (see above)
16 - Tetris DS (not in the first 15 because it's only a port)
17 - Super Mario 64 DS (see above)
18 - Tony Hawk's American Sk8land (overlooked and underappreciated, but I didn't play since THPS3 and about five seconds of THPS4, so I might understand people getting bored with the series)
19 - Electroplankton (YOU MUST PLAY IT WHEN YOU'RE HIGH)
20 - Advance Wars - Dual Strike (Not quite as... Enthralling as the GBA episodes. Dunno why, there wasn't the same magic in it)
21 - Brain Training (only for the sudoku ^^)
22 - Mario and Luigi - Partners in Time (it's this low because of its ZERO replay value)
23 - Super Monkey Ball (multiplayer monkey fight FTW)
24 - Nanostray (Well, it's the only decent schmup I can think about apart from that horrible, horrible helicopter sim)
25 - Metroid Prime Hunters (I hate FPS'es, but I put it there as a "you gotta admit it's really good" submission)

    OBJECTION!!!!

[It should be no.1 [IMG] ]

However, what's up with Meteos? I mean, it's ok and all, but I seem to be wildly better when just tapping on the touchscreen like mad, making combos etc....

There haven't even been 15 great releases for the ds yet. Decent, but not great. I'm only counting English speaking releases because I don't speak languages with indecipherable lines for an alphabet.

New SMB - This plays like the original SMB, I would have prefered it been built on SNES SMW.
Kirbys Canvas Curse - This qualifies as great
Animal Crossing - I wasted $30USD and four hours of my life trying to figure out the appeal.
Advance Wars DS - Cool, but nothing spectacular beyond AW2
Super Mario 64 - Anyone who claims this sorry re-port should punch themselves in the naughty bits
Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow - Great Release
Mario Kart - Great Release, but I dig Kart for N64 more.
Brain Age - WTF, I'm doing my best to ensure the early onset of dementia, now a freakin' DS release is going to try to pigeon-hole me based on those dork tests? What would be cool is a release called Brain Rage which determines the likelihood that the participant might throttle the next moron with a clipboard that asks him if he's registered to vote. Of course he is, fool.
    Metroid - Great release

    Everthing else is just stretching.
