It seems the patch got updated. I can confirm saving on GEN-D3. Although, there's a weird glitch with playing this game on US PSPs. Sometimes X and O get swapped in the save menu, so it can be a little annoying.

This is common with many Japanese games, the 'save menu' is actually part of the system, not the game, so if your system's region is US, X and O get swapped.

edit: though I'm not sure why it isn't that way with ALL games

It's actually been bugging me for a while, though I've gotten used to it..

i followed the instruction on a9vg and got everything working on 5.00m33, can't create system save file at first startup but after reaching first save point in game you can create system save file, remotejoylite also works together so I can play on my monitor with a controller

I stopped when I get to character selection screen, I'll continue later tonight.

wqsg_umd software, winrar

The second step, starting :

use winrar to cvn-khbs.iso in
PSP_GAME \ USRDIR \ BBS1.DAT
PSP_GAME \ USRDIR \ BBS2.DAT
PSP_GAME \ USRDIR \ BBS3.DAT
extract to the root of memory stick, without path name.

Unzip the attachment dnas_decryptor.rar to X: \ PSP \ GAME directory, in the memory stick there is more than 700M free space on the premises, began to run dnas_decryptor, the software will begin BBS1/2/3.DAT decrypt, output X: \ BBS1_DEC.DAT and other documents, declassified automatically after exit.

I didn't read the whole thread cause its pretty dumb, but the non-working PSP games do not have AP. They need the new firmware modules loaded to run.... its happened before all throughout the PSP lifetime starting from 2.0 games like LCS needing to run on 1.5. The games have functions which simply do not exist in the CFW.

This patch appears to attempt to hack the game to load the new modules.

I know how to do it know but my memory stick......

In the third step you extract the eboot.bin from the original iso....than you put in the root of your psp's memory stick.
Now you download PRXdecrypter 2.4 and put in the directory PSP/GAME.....
Than you run it in your psp and decrypt the eboot.

You now open the modified eboot with a Hex Editor and do the following changes:
00322629: 79 -> 4F
00322705: 79 -> 5A
00366164: 04 -> 40

Now with the modified eboot you replace the eboot from the iso.

I thnk thats it

Edit: Wonderful, now I'm having problems with PRXdecrypter. Says "ms0:/enc/folder is missingUnknown critical error"
