Hacking Battery draining when console is off with AutoRCM

I have AutoRCM installed and I'm using the switchblade payload. Is anyone else having an issue with the battery draining even despite holding the power button and selecting "Turn off"?

If I accidentally put it into the broken sleep mode I'd understand this, but it's happening despite me shutting down the console, say before bed, and waking up to it at 3%?

That's what it sounds like it's doing as it dying while shut off doesn't make much sense.

Does anyone know if the "Turn off" option while using AutoRCM just puts it into RCM mode?

Try sending a payload after you select Turn Off.

Actually that has always worked; the only way I actually can turn on my switch with AutoRCM is using my phone and connecting the usb C and it always instantly boots..I guess that answers my question haha

Remove the battery. Maybe a payload could be made for that, not sure though.

Haha oh man. Having your switch on 24/7 is a big catch just to not have to use a jig anymore. Looks like I'm uninstalling AutoRCM. Thanks for the help!

Remove the battery. Maybe a payload could be made for that, not sure though.

How about using the Hekate Payload, and selecting the power off option in the Bootloader with the USB still connected to your Payload device, and then pushing another payload without removing, and reinserting the USB to any ports to see if it truly powers it off.

EDIT: worth a shot before you unistall AutoRCM.

I just gave that a shot but this time from my PC rather my phone, as my phone would inject the payloads automatically once i connected the usb. Using TegraRcmGUI 1.3.0 and it seems to show when RCM mode is detected or not. I selected the power off option in hetake with the usb still connected, and my PC beeps as if i disconnected the device and TegraRcm tells me "RCM not detected". It would not let me push another payload as it was greyed out (as if the switch is off). Once I reinsert the usb my PC still discovers "APX" and the TegraRcm lights up green saying "RCM detected"

That means it's still in RCM. I would just remove autoRCM.

it should be "no rcm detected" for atleast a few secs,if it's already on it will show up instanteley

That means it's still in RCM. I would just remove autoRCM.

you really just need to press power off in hekate,no need to remove such a useful thing

Yeah I second this seems like a possible issue

Edit: Not actually he managed to power it off just fine as he couldn't push another Payload after the last Hekate option that was suggested

It's really not. Just press the power off in hekate lol. The reason why it turns on and it finds it after a few seconds of being plugged in is because it's trying to power on,like any normal switch does when it detects power, except that since autorcm is installed,it goes to rcm

Hey that's you on YT lol! Thanks for helping.

When I reinsert the usb cable to my pc after powering off in hekate it literally lights up green instantly saying RCM detected with not even a 1 sec delay. Same with "APX connected" popping up in the bottom right of my PC

I am onto something lol,I have autorcm on my switch and even made a guide for it , I think I know something lol. Anyway,to know if a switch is in rcm mode it should be warm to the touch so that's a way of detecting rcm

Ok I'm going to fully charge my switch then try powering off via hetake and let it sit for a few hours and report back if my % dropped at all before I uninstall anything. Thanks for the help i appreciate it!
