Alright, i'll try to share the gist. trying to do the basehaxx thing. I've done all sorts of exploits and feel i've done all i could. When i launch from the rosalina HBlauncher (after removing the xml. file) i start it and i get this error. I'm assuming its the homebrew payload? Renamed otherapp. I just can't find much about this paticular payload and it seems to be the main problem. Maybe the whole new luma/rosalina whatever it may be. i did recently catch up my devices. Why can't i do this though? its old to old both same firmware. just trying to get homebrew on o3dsxl. not sure if that matters. HELP!

If you remove the .xml, the installer will run as whatever title you're running the HBL over, which most likely isn't the game you're trying to install the save to.

And the Rosalina+hbmenu2 combo doesn't support (yet) homebrews using this title-selection system, as is well documented in the Luma changelog

So the payloads are correct. I found removing the xml. could be a quick fix with the title thing. No work around or some sort of homebrew alternative? Not the most savvy but, I'd like to believe there's some sort of way to complete the basehaxx or similar secondary exploit. Must i accept nothing short of a transfer?

If someone else can supply you a decrypted premade exploit save (I've never looked into basehaxx but this save may depend on target console model/version/region) you might be able to install it using JKSMX (a modified version of JK Save Manager designed to work from Rosalina by directly accessing games, instead of relying on the hbmenu to do it - https://github.com/Phalk/JKSM/releases)...

...or, unlikely, someone could mod the basehax installer in the same fashion to make a Rosalina-compatible version

.3DSX homebrews made before Rosalina came out used an older version of lib when compiled and Rosalina does not support it; nor does it support *hax 2.x" payloads which were used to run said homebrews. Hax payloads cannot work with Rosalina because the memory map is shuffled around to make space for the Rosalina system module to load (and this breaks the payloads because they expect certain things to be at fixed locations in memory). The only solution is to hope for updates to these programs (not likely since the devs most likely went ghost long ago) or use another program.
