Barebone laptops

    Does anyone no where to get a decent barebones laptop, and some good parts - preferably a dual/quad core, 1 tb drive, blu-ray drive, decent CPU idk.

    Barebones laptops don't have any of those things built in, you have to buy them yourself seperately and install them.
    The only thing they include is the motherboard, video card, screen, and DVD drive.

    I don't think that's what you're looking for though... You might want to go to dell.com, hp.com, apple.com or such and configure yourself a complete laptop there.

    Also, there's no such thing as a 1TB laptop HDD yet.

    Yes the OCZ laptops are the only true laptops that can be modified by yourself, but the parts are extremely expensive and the upgrades are not that great as you can't swap graphics chips and you are very limited in CPU and. disc drive options

    I realized that *waiting for vx5 laptop, maybe I'll just use a barebones msi wind
