With many methods available now for nand back up which one is the best?

What is the bare minimum I need to back
Up if I don't care about installed apps/saves etc

When I first did a full nand back Up it zipped up to small file. Now even with all games deleted it hardly looses any file size.

What I really want is to back up the vital files so I can get my switch back up and running should the worst case happen.

I updated from 6.0.0 to 6.0.1 so need to make a new nand back Up.

The bare minimum is boot0/1 and prodinfo, I think. But you would acquire the firmware from somewhere else then.

EDIT: Also, the upgrade from 6.0.0 to 6.0.1 doesn't burn any fuses AFIK, so I don't think you would need to make a new backup at all.
Also, you could just always update without burning fuses, then you would also not need to do a new backup.

If you have to ask, then you should be backing up the entire nand. (Otherwise, I guarantee you're gonna be back here asking someone to fix you're nand for you.) Use the backup feature in Hekate or SXOS. Don't use any homebrew that runs from an NRO, NSP, etc. Because they are not safe.
