went to the eshop tonight to download okami and just found out both switches in house have been banned never played backups online only played local coop with my son ... aswell there online sucks anyway

Thats impossible. Are you sure someone in your house didnt hack your switches?

its hacked i bet he just said he had not played the backups online..

playing backups offline still gets you banned. they sniff your console soon as you turn on the internet and see you been a naughty boy

Once you hack your switch its like a schrodinger switch. Its banned and not banned at the same time until you check on it. If he would just admit to hacking his 2 switches he could waltz right over to the banned switch thread and fill out a form for both of the banned switches.

Been using sx pro just not online . Oh well Nintendo just lost 30 bucks I was about to download okami , so I'm assuming you can download e shop games nowadays in the form of nsp files

Then there you go, the moment you use a 3rd party device intended for pirating games, you'll have a extremely high chance of being banned. This shouldn't surprise you.

You are aware of the fact that although you don´t click on multiplayer inside a game you are indeed online as long as there´s a wifi connection? Many games connect to their or N server without even asking.
So i believe you played a game (local coop doesn´t change that) while you where NOT in airplane mode -> bann.

I just went online to check - I can still use the eShop, not banned! I've been using SXOS since the first week it was released, installed Devmenu using LayeredFS and updating all the games (XCI and NSP) online under SXOS. The only thing I never did was playing the games online. So I suspect your son must've played online without you knowing. You need to interrogate him! :whip:

The console is banned, I have the same issue get another switch for non sxos stuff and games you want to play online that'd what Im doing.
