Hacking Band Hero conversion problems

I have my wii set up with UNEEK+DI(r150) and JoyFlow(r1.0) on a 1.5 TB external drive. I use a second 250gB external and wiiflow to rip the game to WBFS then use ModMii to convert them to DiscEx format. I have done this with over 100 different games with no problems..... until I tried Band Hero, when it gets to 60% the transfer speed shoots up but the ETA and elapsed time just keep going up. If I let it sit for 15 minutes or so it will get to 61% then just stops. I thought maybe it was a bad rip so I deleted the wbfs file and re-ripped it (several times) to no avail. I am open to any ideas or suggestions anyone may have.
