Hacking backup loaders for wii

I have a few question about the backup loader for wii( im using gamma)

1. Does it void your warranty for your wii

2.does it mess up my wii eye if played too long??

2. Uhhh... no? I've seen a handful of claims about backup discs being 'bad' for the wii's drive, but they are completely baseless AFAIK.

i think it SHOULD void the warrenty, i mean im sure theres something somewhere about installing stuff like homebrew that would void it.
