You can alsways hold the power button for 5 seconds. Is the same effect

Disaster: Day of Crisis PAL: Hang the loader after it display the disc code. Burned at 16x on TDK DVD

Disaster PAL definitely works, so maybe try burning again - possibly on different discs.

Yeah, tried on Fortis Technology DVD-R at 4x and works flawlessy.

Damn TDK! They don't go below 8x!!!

guys i've tried zak and wiki pal version decrypted with my pal wii,..
strange thing happened!

it takes about 7 seconds to load the wii strap screen, then another 7 seconds to get to say loading.. then stays there for sometime then hangs!!

tried different hock types,.. and nothing works..

what causes that ?

Might be because you've got GC controllers plugged in. I had the same problem with DBZ:BT3.

Running on a 3.3u, did a fix through the IOS16 to be able install wads again. Super smash bro brawl works for me under force PAL60. Weird because the original iso was PAL I used WiiFrii PAL to NTSC-U and using the backup launcher with no force the game gives me a green screen. Using force NTSC, same thing, green screen. I tried force PAL60 and it started right away. No problem what so ever. Game play is fine and no crashes. I'm sad to have read, Soul Calibur doesn't work, is this for a patched image or 1:1?

Can i play NTSC games on a PAL Wii ??

I want to play Jillian Michaels fintness 2009. With WIU1.1 the game will not work for me, i have convert to pal and deleted the update, the only thing i will get is just a Green screen.

Have somebody tested the NTSC game on a PAL Wii

I have tested 2 NTSC games on my Wii.

Densha de Go (NTSC-J -> Japan) patched to PAL using ForcePAL50 on the loader works great.

Wii Music (NTSC-U -> USA) patched to PAL using ForcePAL50 or 60 gives me a green screen, without forcing it outputs video in NTSC, only working if your PAL TV supports NTSC video input, form what was answered to my questions here in this thread a couple of pages back. (BTW thanks for the answer guys!

Tested another game:

Sky Crawler: Innocent Aces (NTSC/J)
DVD brand: Philip's DVD-R
System Menu: 3.2U
Loader: .03

Results: Game boots, but once it passes the Namco-Bandai and the Project Ace logo it goes into 'Game Disc Error, please eject'. I try setting into japaness language and the error appear. I will Wiifrii to change it from NTSC/J to NTSC/U and test again...last attemp will be to try it patch. Will update with the result.

Update: Patch to NSTC/U gives the same error. Last attempt will be with another brand of DVD and then it doesn't work (at least for me at the moment).

Update 2: Nope, same error. Can add this to the wiki as not working.

Guitar Hero World Tour works great , NTSC wii , 3.2U , 0.3 loader .. it won't load if the guitar is hooked up when booting , wait till it loads than plug in.

Only difference is the loading time, a about 5-10 seconds faster than "the other" loader.

Songs still aren't in sync but can be fixed by pausing the song for a second.

Mario Kart Wii, framerate seems to be lower than normal. Can anyone confirm that?

I'm not going to fight back and forth but it wasn't obvious. Your Wii's region is one thing but the games are another. You didn't point out the region for the games, it was assumed your Wii was from NSTC since that's all you posted.

I don't know why you burned Okami, it hasn't worked in .1 or .3 and has been known for a while.

Because one day it will work and when that day comes, I shall post to say it does work. If you want to get technical (which is fine, since we are all beta testers in this thread) I shall post Wii NTSC and NTSC Region. No reason for us to snip at each other.

one question tho guys

i have dumped Twilight Princess from my PAL disc

but apparently only the NTSC version works, so is there anyway i can make the PAL version work by changing its region or will only the NTSC disc work

Disaster: Day of Crisis seems to be a very good game for beta testing. Both WiiGator loaders 0.1 and 0.3 each with the correct cios just hang with a black screen when loading stage 8. It's after weapon selection and before the loading screen, there isn't a cutscene. I think the most important thing about this is: Running the loader from Waninkoko(i use cios_fix by ppc_gba for both 0.1 loaders) there isn't any problem at all(if you ignore the long loading time and the shuttering movies).

==>There seems to be a bug inside Wiigator's loader and not inside the ios or the dip.

PS: I knew it is useful to install different cios at the same time.
PPS: I have a PAL Wii and only PAL games.
PPPS: I tested 1:1 and decrypted for 0.3 loader and decrypted for both 0.1 loaders

Far Cry Vengeance NTSC Works 100% fast load time movies work great
SCORE International Baja 1000 wORKS 100% a little suttering when picking vechile and track but only for little a second or two

by the way I rent Iron Man and the original copy goes to 480I on my TV when it boots thru the Disc Channel, any one else getting this??

Has anyone tried Warioland shake it NTSC-U or Super Mario Galaxy NTSC-U 1:1 (non patched)?? If so, does any of those work with the new loader?

Wario Shake It NTSC does not work on 0.3. I do not know if SMG works or not. Have you checked the wiki?
