the reason why i am asking because i always thought it was risky when u installed wads from a different region and i thought i could run into problems too if i tried to play wii backup games from a different region
Yes, you should be able to play PAL Wii games through the backup launcher just fine. Some PAL games will require you to use the "Force NTSC" option to allow them to play properly, but there is no danger of bricking your Wii by using it. Hope this helps!

Yes, You can play PAl games no problem. The force NTSc is if your TV ccan not show PAL frequenceies (most new tvs can).
