I got another brand now to try it with.. verbatim is on the way!

guys just buy a 50 pack of Verbatim DVD-r or DVD+R, it cost me like £12. It will save you a lot of trouble. Stop using bloody DVD-RW lol, my heads going to explode if I read another post about a game not working with DVD-RW.

I posted this on the compatibility thread, but got no response (yet).

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (NTSC) is crashing on Dribble & Spitz's Boss Stage, and when visiting Block Star minigame or the Temple of Form.

Can anyone confirm this for me, please? Uploaded my save so that it could be faster/easier. Click here.
Please let me know if you tested it and what happened, thanks!

I am just getting into all this. I was wondering is Waninkoko still working on this or did he really give it up for good.

From the compatibility list on my sig :
Super Paper Mario PARTIAL Game crashes after Count Bleck had the meeting with his henchman. Until then, it's playable. PARTIAL No difference

If you boot it up a second time when you play it, it gets past that part. I had that problem, booted it up again and was able to get past that part.

Well, ive tried with the included WiiBackupPatcher, i tried with extractpartition but got the cannot find root-key error, i found the backup-creator and burnt the partition.iso with a DVD-ROM profile at 2x

and i still get DVD identify error, the backed up game is No More Heroes, any tips or any at all?

This is usually an error with the Disc itself - try a different type of disc and see if it works dvd-r seem to be the most reliable for the wii for some reason.

Well i just tried with Sony DVD-R and no dice

perhaps the iso i made is corrupt? i think i dumped it from a rental...

anything else i should try?

When I use the cIOS installer from psycon's 1st post (v6), I get an error:
"Failed to allocate temp buffer for encrypted content, size was 2047092088"
or something like that.

Then, I tried installing the cIOS from djtaz's signature (v5). Success!
One problem: IOS249 doesn't appear under advanced installation for DVDX.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

I had the same error, just delete some channels and free some space..

OMFG DON'T USE DVD-RW!!!!

So many have asked this i have put it into the questions and answers - its simple - DONT USE DVD-RW OR DVD+RW. It has worked for some , but they are the exceptions to the rules

DVD REWRITABLES DONT WORK

I thought you meant the actual DVD, not the driver, ill try with a friend's burner tomorrow, sorry and tahnks >.

guys you can burn up to the maximum speed supported by your DVD medium. I've burnt all my games at 16x and they all work.
