Hacking Backup Launcher 0.3 problem

Well im pretty new to this.. I hacked my psp but wii is a bit different. I used the Zelda twilight hack and got the Homebrew channel. I went into homebrew installed cios. Then i installed the DVDX to IOS 249 and then I went into the wad-manager_v123 and installed the launcher. Now i put the game in and when i went to the Backup channel i pressed "start" and then my remote turned off and the wii restarted to the regular menu.. I dont know what is wrong. Help would be VERY much appritiated!

Which cios did you install? There are at least 3 different versions. Try .dol versions of the loader(s), this way you have less trouble searching the right version. The channels are the same loaders, but with a channel around it. All developers publish their loader as .dol. (Or in the case of SoftChip with sourcecode only)

You can skip step 3,4 and 5 if you only want 0.3b or you can skip step 6,7 and 8 if you only want 0.1.

0.1 has greater compatibility, but is slow as hell
0.3b has nearly original speed

My wii firmware is 3.0U, does that have anything to do with it?
