ROM Hack Backlight Codes Don't Work?

I'm using the latest Narin's massive cheat compilation.

Uhh...I got my lite few days ago, and well...it seems that Backlight Control doesn't work (pressing L+R+Select and up/down doesn't do anything). I have R4 and YSMenu. I tried on few games. Some issue with YS menu, or what?
