Modding custom music into ACNH has never been easier! This is a tool that makes patching BARS files very fast and easy.
Nintendo Switch games that use BWAV audio files need to have their BARS files patched when you are inserting your own custom BWAV files.
Previously this had to be done with the old BARS patcher tool, which required manually patching all of the tracks one by one. This new tool runs directly on your Nintendo Switch, and patching the full game's soundtrack can now be as simple as three button presses!
Currently, the only supported game is Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but you can easily make it work with other games by editing the config file. See the Github page for more information.
Note: You need to dump the sound files from your game before using this tool. This can be done using nxdumptool, but make sure that you also tell it to dump the updated files as it doesn't seem to do that by default. It's very important that your dumped files are from the same update version of the game that you will be using your mods with, the game might crash or do weird things if you give it a patched BARS file that originated from a different version of the game!
