I was wondering if any of you would know what the proper etiquette for getting an autograph on game with the plastic wrap on it. I have a collector's edition of a game that still has the plastic wrap on it and a possible opportunity to get it signed by the series character designer. Do I have them sign on the wrap or do I unwrap it so that he signs directly on the box?

Well if it's a collector's item then on the plastic wrap and don't smudge that damn thing.

From what I saw, they had people remove the plastic before getting them signed. I got other items signed instead.
