Not necessary. Just rename the rxTools 3dsx to boot.3dsx and place it on the root of the SD. To access the HBL, install the launcher CIA, run it once so it downloads the payload, then hex edit the payload to point to the HBL 3dsx.

Agreed it is a mess compared to current cfw+a9lh

Well I have to admit that not anyone is able to install a9lh. Menuhax + Emunand CFW is pretty safe, nothing will touch the sysnand. On the other side newcomers have to downgrade to 9.2.

You see, some noobs and non computer guys are satisfied enough with menuhax and emunand cfw - piracy works with that great enough.

On the other hand you have to put up with awful boot rates no brick protection and the unsureness that one day Nintendo will update your sys/emunand /break your CFw and you won't be able to do anything. And its not that hard if you follow pailects guide

Yes you can its awful slow and buggy its FBI injection sucks and its slow unstable and doesn't have firm protection. Also most of its functionalities(tools) are broken or unstable (rxTools=rxBroken)

And it was the first free CFW. Once it's set up it works great. And setting up CFW SHOULD be hard so the pirating 10 year olds can get frustrated and throw their system at the wall.

It actually isn't, but it definitely led to better things. RxTools is dead now, though, A9LH isn't necessary for everyone, and Luma3DS is currently the recommended CFW for every new user, no matter if they use Menuhax/A9LH or have an N3DS/O3DS.
