Has everyone got got msn? I dont but could easily set it up. Do you think that would make it easier to organise matches? I still am unable to get even a single random match. you guys are my only source of lag free online smash.

I agree with you, it lags even if we're suburbs apart...

Does having different region affect it? (One person w/ JAP game, one w/ US game connecting WiFi w/ friend codes)

@Kirby102 - We both have the USA version but mines DVD5 and his is DVD9(i think)

@Evil Toast - We both have cable, i'm with bigpond, he's with optus.

Possible the servers aren't really set up for Aussie multi yet, due to a lack of PAL release?


We should all do some tests to see if we can see what works, what doesn't etc.

Using a DVD5 USA version of Brawl.

I'm with TPG, ADSL2+ 24mb/1mb, running it from a Netgear Wireless Modem/Router, Melbourne, Victoria.

Had no worries with Mario Strikers, but, maybe the SSBB server ain't up here yet, if the info from hitting a character, has to get sent to a server in the US, before being sent to the opposing aussie players console, i can see why it could lag bad.

80% of my games against other Australians either have a small amount, or zero lag at all. I don't think there's any problem with US servers.

But I played you this morning toast with terrible lag. Iim in WA your in SA (I think) I have ADSL 2+ with iinet and a wired connection for my wii. There isnt much room for lag there. What are you running on?

I've got 1.5MB ADSL. That's what I mean. I have bad lag with some people, but none with others.
