Hacking Attempted DSiWare downgrade when the update happened

Here is what I had done all day yesterday. I was modding my girls O3DS by downgrading it from 10.6 to 9.2 then went through all the steps to do the Arm9LoaderHax onto it. Everything went fine with this and I updated the system to 11.0 I have Backups of all the Os's I had done. I then started to do the DSiWare downgrade for my console which is a N3DS that was on 11.0.0-33U which I started doing the Downgrade. I had to upgrade to 11.1 since that just got release as I finished my girls 3DS which was still on 11.0. They both got upgraded and I had to do this for it. I was able to go through everything with Fieldrunners like it states and everything seemed to have worked. I guess what I'm waiting on is a Homebrew launcher that will work for 11.1 to be able to downgrade to 9.2? I have Cubic Ninja and Zelda OOT.

I just bought another n3ds v11.0 just yesterday, good thing I bothered to downgrade it before going to bed even tho I got home oretty late.

Anyway back on topic, have you tried entering HBL with OoT3DHax installed with 11.0 payload? If so, then try using the 10.4 payload.

The same. I just brought home a galaxy n3ds xl, and I managed to download a copy of fieldrunners before the servers shut down. Hopefully the ropbins will be updated soon.

Some dude on the main thread of 11.1 suggest to use the 10.4.0-29 ropbin after doing a native firm downgrade. I hope the OP tests this if it'll gonna work. I have some friends I promised to do dsiware downgrade tomorrow. :omg:

My issue is that I already did the Transfer so what if I made a new account, me and my girl don't care about our NNID and I just did a transfer on 11.1. I'll have to see if I can get it to do a transfer soon and not wait a week to do so...

Not following why this is an issue? The save game didn't get updated just the .nds file. Literally nothing changes for you. Just launch the exploit like normal and follow the guide.

I'm not good at explaining but I will try. Because the OS was updated to 11.1, both systems was on that when I tried to attempt the DSiWare update with the two devices while using the firmware zip from 11.0 not 11.1, because that was before I noticed. after doing the file transfer you have to wait 7 days to use that DSiWare game on that account before you are allowed to do another transfer. is that correct? I will have to make my own account and not use my girlfriends account to do the exploit. So I have to buy the game on my own account again as I have to wait 7 days to do the transfer again. Hope this was more clear

Do not add another account to the system you transferred from or you will make it more difficult. The firmware and boot.nds are stored on the SD card. The only reason you are doing a system transfer is to get the game on the new system with the save file, that's it...You should be able to replace whatever files don't work on 11.1.

alright, I'm trying to find the best way for me. My O3DS that had the account on it no longer has the account on it and I don't care about any of the information on either of the systems. I was going to repurchase the game on a separate account, format the N3DS since it's not going to work. Then redo the transfer of Fieldrunners on my new account with the information to transfer. You don't think that is going to work?

Remember her account was transferred from her system to mine with the 11.0 Fieldrunner exploit while both systems are on 11.1 My system has her account while her system doesn't have an account on it

Alright, I know where I am now, I had to backtrack and redo it for 11.1 so I know where I am now. Since I have done the downgrade now. I can use either of the ways to reach the homebrew through either of the 10.4 ways. (No browser or with browser)

Alright, So I have redone the Downgrade FIRM to 10.4 using the 11.1 firm bin it finished without any issues with reErr:0 wrErr:0 I went to attempt to use Cubic Ninja with the 10.4.0-7U QR code but the game just errors out now.

The error says this when I get kicked out of the game after redoing the QR code:
An error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The system will now restart. (Unsaved data may be lost.)

I believe the Cubic Ninja entry point is done for now.

Well this proves that even after downgrading native firm to 10.4, you can't use 10.4's ropbin on secondary exploits. We really need to wait for an updated ropbin for v11.1
