All this speculation, and you don't even look at the commits on Github, Atmosphere development is moving along incredibly fast, and they are now focusing on improving SD drivers for speed and getting HOS to boot, so release is not far away at all.

I am not gonna go to details, but a lot of people quit the scene. Some because of what they accomplished (Pluto and fully working HBL), some because of "personal problems". If you want to know more, dig and dig and dig.
