Yea, older ReiNX versions changed the system version string in a way that did result in it getting sent to Ninty. Could’ve been error reports as well.

Technically it was possible to use fusee prior to official release by patching a few defines out and manually setting up BCT.ini, as well.

As someone who has had their switch since launch and ran CFW before the first official Atmosphere or ReiNX release was available and played online for that whole time period, I disagree with you disagreeing about me disagreeing with you disagreeing with my correction.

The reason you got banned was because you ran early builds. They have definitely improved and clearing errors has been proven to be ban bait.

I am aware (I follow the commit history and code.) My point here is that all it takes is one thing to go wrong in atmosphere, or Nintendo to attempt to detect CFW in a newer game or update and you're fucked. It's not "safe". It will never be "safe".

From someone who has and continue to do the naughtiest of naughty's and still haven't been banned, it would seem it is all just a lottery that most will lose and a few will win.

Just my luck as well, would rather win a real lottery.

If I launch atmosphere on my switch, after restart can I play LEGAL games online? And if I install any games using goldtree and goldleaf, can i still play games online?

If you only ran atmosphere and (non-piracy) homebrew, didn't install any nsps homebrew or otherwise, didn't do a few other specific things like custom profile picture, then yes you'd theoretically be pretty safe to reboot to ofw and play online. If you've installed any pirated games then no that would no longer be safe.
Wait for emunand so you can have both.

I didn’t say it was 100% safe, but you did very ban baity stuff that was proven to ban people then acted like it was completely out of the blue and that you didn’t do anything suspicious
