Atlus Studios no more

Atlus as an independent studio is no more. They've been merged into their parent company. They will retain the name on some properties, but since the move was to increase profitability, I doubt we will see any of the innovative and whacky titles out of Atlus as before. Ironically, Atlus might just end up as a Persona franchise machine.

I can live with this as apprently, atlus usa will still be alive. This is most likely do to the many many games atlus has taken a chance on and published that havent sold well. As long as i get the same quality from them, im fine with it.

They are still alive which is a good thing and the increase of profits will help, just look at Square-Enix. Hopefully they will make Luminous Arc 4, 3 was ok but not enough fanservice for my tastes so hopefully they can make 4 as epic as LA2 which had the gameplay and fanservice.
