So..today I finally picked up my Vita and decided to start messing around with homebrew after holding off for a really long time, mostly because of the EXTREME lack of documentation, instructions and...well..everything, in comparison to the 3DS scene. @Voxel Studios studios explained a lot to me so, thank you man. I managed to get TN-V installed and I've been messing about with it all day. There is something wrong though. Nothing seems to be working...correctly.

First off, I can't write to /PSP/GAME which I thought was possible on 3.36, which is my FW. I guess that's not true? Well, I can survive using the PSP2 rename method..if only..the homebrew actually worked. Somethings work, like VitaFTP. Actually, that's probably the only one I've gotten to work. Every other piece of Homebrew I've tried kicks me out with the 80020148 error, Snes9x crashes at choosing a ROM, running any EBOOT from Ark kicks me back to the Vita menu, Ark with the ONEMenu crashes while it says "Scanning SAVES" with the error C1-2858-3... I've tried putting shit straight in /PSP/GAME, I've tried the INSTALL.ZIP method, I've tried the ISO method, same with everything.
After trying all day, I'm burnt out.

Do anyone have any idea what the fuck is going on? Cause googling for Vita 80020148 doesn't show many others with the same issue, and if there are, there are no solutions. What could possibly be wrong?

Thank you.

Use the install.zip method, and make sure the INSTALL.ZIP is fully uncompressed (use 7-zip to do so.) Once done, the install will work. If certain homebrew won't work, they won't work.

I actually feel you, it's quite frustrating to hack the vita. I'm actually just trying to get qcma work and it doesn't.. it's kind of sad. When flight mode is on, it could not connect, when it's off even my wifi is off, it gives me update error. XD

You sure you checked the 'offline mode' tick-box?

In that case then, try using Vita Update Blocker; instructions are here. (It says it works for 3.20 PSTVs, however, I believe it would also work on your 3.35 Vita too! :))
Thanks I will try that. I've also unearthed some posts, will the proxy thingy work? If all else have failed?

I'm amazed at how patient I am and you are for this. In anycase, I understand why it's a hit or miss thing. Not a lot of tools for vita hacking have been updated for a very long time. :B
