Hacking Assistance editing usrcheat.dat for Renegade Platinum

I’m trying to play Remegade Platinum on my Gateway Blue card and managed to get cheats detected and working for other games(including an untouched copy of platinum) however whenever I try and enable cheats for Renegade it can not find any.

How would I go about fixing this and also adding two cheats. Since I would like to add instant text and a code for shipping the health bar damage animation

Memory addresses don't change in ROMhacks, so just use the same cheats as the proper game version and it should work, so if you want cheats on a Platinum ROMhack, use the cheats for normal Platinum.
