I'm thinking mainly of the screenshot enabler (http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=116&t=47974), which only mentions individual titleids.

Admittedly I only have one app that would NEED the plugin (Madoka Magica), but more could be installed in the future, and why would I want to ever let one disable screenshots anyway?

Some plugins are known to cause issues when you use the *ALL tag, mainly freezing basic homebrew like VitaShell or Molecular Shell so you can't access the file browser any longer without having to reset your config.txt file.

Not sure if the screenshot enabler would do this, but I would suggest you backup your config file before doing so in case it breaks everything.

some plugins (if not properly coded) will freeze system apps/homebrew when doing that.(no clue if screenshot enabler does that)

but most plugins don't do this anymore, as it's well known how to exclude those plugins from loading when in certain applications.

if you want to be safe and want to screenshot use "pngshot" and add it under *main . i know pngshot doesnt cause any problems as i'm using it everyday since it's release

Like everyone said, *ALL has issues. I also started using that tag before I realized it was the source of my problem.
Kinda makes you think, we were spoiled with the plugin system on the PSP :)

But any, the plugin @ShroomKing attached is the one you should be using. The other ones shouldnt be used anymore (There are like 5 different releases or something of a screenshot plugin!)

It's not *really* a big deal. Even if it does lock up, you can boot while holding a key (L? can't remember) to load without plugins.
Yeah, L

Yeah, that's exactly why I thought of this issue (only had once a plugin break compatibility, and with ME recovery menu there's even no need for a text editor to turn plugins on or off - although I disabled them manually before running the Hellcat downgrader, just didn't trust an mp3 player in the background for this :D)
