Hacking Arm9LoaderHax on O3DS

There seems to be conflicting information for Arm9LoaderHax on O3DS.
Is it possible, and do I still need to use the new 3ds firmware files to install on O3DS? I don't want to brick my O3DS.

The o3ds never had an arm9loader. The n3ds files are there so that your o3ds gets an arm9loader so that you can hax it. And yes, this works because it's all nintendo stuff so the sigchecks pass. So leave the n3ds files right where they are and it will all go swimmingly.
