How do people learn to hardmod?

Personally I'd go let an expert hardmod for me.

A mix of skill and research. You need previous soldering experience and knowledge of the 3DS hardware.

Soldering experience eliminates most of the population form trying, myself included. It's good to know there are people out there who can do it.

Just saying, the 3ds hardware is a b*tch. The cables are tiny and delicate, and it's like made to be inconvinient. The circle pad wire does a loop around the console before actually connecting, and oh dear god the top screen might be the bane of my existence.
