Hacking ARM9LH preperations => remove any TWL modifications

Hey Guys,

I want to install ARM9LH but I need to know how to remove TWL-modifications before doing this.
I've installed modified TWL_NAND (by Apache THunder) some days ago to SysNAND + EmuNAND.

The tutorial says: "Repeat steps 21 through 26, this is not optional (in other words, you must TinyFormat your EmuNAND twice - if you do not, you will most likely brick your device when you downgrade)"

How can I remove the TWL_NAND modifications?

Download the proper TWL firm for your console, region and firmware with 3DNUS and flash it on sysnand

Download unmodified TWL_NAND through 3DNUS and install that over your original one to emunand (since this is the one you'll be downgrading to 2.1 before flashing to sys). O3DS TWL_NAND is 0004013800000102, N3DS TWL_NAND is 0004013820000102.

would it be possible to put up a link to 3dnus that doesnt have a virus. Sorry for such a noob question, but how is this installed?

- Install the lastest and original (downloaded from 3DNUS) TWL_FIRM CIA to your emuNAND
- Remove -all- twl patches from your CFW (like signature patch or any patch that SALT team provided you you have).

so I think I've got the latest 3dsnus. However the most recent download I can get is 8.0.0-18E, after updating 3dnus. My emunand is on 11.0.0-33E though. Surely putting the 0004013800000102.cia from 8.0.0-18 onto my emunand using FBI is going to mess it up?

EDIT Ahh, although it's not in the dropdown list, you can download 11.0.0-33E by typing it in. So now I just install the cia on my emunand 0004013800000102.cia using fbi?

Pretty much. Another alternative would be to uninstall TWL_FIRM with FBI (but make sure you uninstall the correct title!), then perform a system update.
