So yeah.. I grew up with NES and SNES, but I loved my SNES to death.
I remember playing this one RPG at my cousins house.. We always took turns, fighting battles, buying items, etc.

It was for the SNES obviously.. The three characters you start out with is this one chick with blue hair (I'm NOT 100% on this), and two other soldiers, which AFAIR, were pretty much just called Soldiers.

I could've sworn the title screen said Final Fantasy.. But no Final Fantasy has characters like this RPG.
My memory is way too fuzzy.

It's Final Fantasy 6 in Japan...4 (I think) in the US.

They are riding in Mechs at the start right? Then the girl runs away from the military etc...

Final Fantasy VI, but it was known as Final Fantasy III in the US.

The girl had green hair and was called Terra, while the soldiers were Vicks (Biggs) and Wedge.

I was really confused back then, when it released in the US as FF3.
Then I played FF3 for the DS, and I didn't remember a thing.

Damn Square... Get your numbers right!

Yeah, but I knew FF2 was FF4 though, so yeah..

Thanks.

And for added confusion goodness...
1 and 2 also = Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls on GBA
4 Japan is also = Final Fantasy IV Advance on GBA
5 Japan is also = Final Fantasy V Advance on GBA
6 Japan is also = Final Fantasy VI Advance on GBA

Nintendo was never consistent except with 1 and 5 because 4 and 6 got confused with 2 and 3 on the SNES, and because of 2 SNES being confused on the 4, then the real '2' on GBA already had a 2 on the SNES....and 5 debuted on GBA so that stayed normal. Messy ain't it? Could cause ones head to spin until it unscrewed and popped off.
