Hacking ARGH! ret= -4100

Hey all, I have been trying to make my wii able to play backup games saves on an external harddrive.
I have done much stuffing around, and I have changed my ISO from 249 using TBR
STILL
whenever I go to load USB Configurer, or Neogamma.
It gives me an error and doesnt work.The error on USB Configurer is ret = -4100
and on Neogamma, it tries 30 times and then fails
PLEASE help me
I am not the best in computers so please dont use too technical language

Is your usb drive on this list.

Do you have waninkoko's and hermes cios installed.

Is your drive formated to WBFS or fat32 with games in USB:/wbfs/GAMEID.wbfs.
