Are there better cheats for Checkpoint?

So I am playing through Pokemon Moon (First time) and I am using certain cheats like Shiny version 1.2 and catch trainers Pokemon 1.2 and eventually they will crash the game and 3DS, it seems like a lot of the cheats for moon crash the game/system. I was just wondering if there was a better cheat utility I could install on my 3DS or away to update checkpoint to a better version. Everything on my New 3DS XL is updated including Luma 3DS.

I suggest you use PKSM for cheats, and not checkpoints. Thats what I use anyway. Someone will probably have a better answer than me, lol.

What about for people who just want codes like 100% catch rate or as the other person said catch trainer's pokemon? PKSM from what I see seems like its more useful for editing your saves.
