Hacking Are clones that bad?

I have a 1:1 r4 Clone and it runs wood so are clones that bad.
So this is what i'm trying to say: If it plays roms and homebrew then whats so bad about clones?

Most clone flash carts are bad because they have horrible support and often times they WILL play older games, but not newer games. A lot of them are also poorly made and will crap out faster than a normal card.

It really differs on the clone. Like R4i Gold (the Wood compatible one) is a great clone with great support both from the official team and the Wood updates.
Then there is the N5 or the countless R4 SDHC which has been known to break DS's and or have no support.

People hate them because bunch of losers who didn't develop the flashcart is making money through a famous name, instead of the developers.

It depends what clones. The R4iDSN/Gold/Ultra are decent clone with Wood(DSN/Gold) or AKAIO (the R4iUltra), and there are a few other good ones, but most are REALLY bad!

You have a copy of the original hardware with support, so you're not having the issues other people have.
