Hacking Anyway to Block System Update

Seems like my 3DS in sleep may or may not have downloaded a system update after 9.2 though message only shows when I'm connected to wifi and go to eshop.

I can't access any thing in eshop (ORAS update) without having to uodate my system fw first.

Is there a way to remove this firmware update message on 9.2 ? I just want my ORAS update
So far I've tried to block eshop URLs on the router which doesn't seem to have worked, and I've cleared the extdata folder on my SD card. No luck

If you managed to somehow block the system update, you wouldn't be able to access the eShop because you have an older version.

So there's no way to access the eShop without being on the latest fw, and in turn can't update my games?

The only thing to do is wait for Gateway and their EmuNAND feature, that way you'll be able to update the EmuNAND to the latest version and download the patch.
