GCN Anyone who can re-write a code for me?

Hello. So, I found this code for the Wii NTSC-U version of Twilight Princess

[Link's Name Changer (up to 12 characters)]
04492ADC XXXXXXXX
04492AE0 XXXXXXXX
04492AE4 XXXXXXXX

Allowing Link to be named up to 12 characters instead of 8. This is cool to me since my name is 9 characters. I got it to work, but I prefer the Gamecube version and would love to use this code there. I have googled for ages but can't seem to find a code allowing this on the Gamecube version, only for the PAL and NTSC-U Wii versions.

So, is there anyone here who can re-write this code to work on the NTSC-U Gamecube version? I would be very grateful.
