Hacking Anyone successfully downgraded SM4.2 yet?

Hi, newbie here. Just got a Wii 3.3 from friend and stupidly upgraded via Nintento to 4.2.

Read through most of posts the last few day but am now a bit confused if someone has successfully donwgraded 4.2 yet?

Does successfully install Preloader = can load older SM?

Why do you have to downgrade? Everything works on 4.2 except for preloader.

Yes and everything works on 4.2U including preloader. So don't downgrade.

Downgrading without a Boot2 wii isn't possible and will brick due to the new Boot2v4.

Uhh, not really. You should be able to downgrade to 3.4 but going earlier than that (or using IOS's from earlier firmwares) will screw things up. Have a read:
