Apple any way to remove pass code if you forgot it?

i changed the passcode for it recently and i fogot what it was, i keep on getting it wrong so i connect to itunes every time i get it wrong is there any way to remove it by a computer without restoring?

You need to place your iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod from backup via iTunes.
thats the only way I am afraid.

i guess ill just keep guessing the code, i always lose the data on my apps when i do that

Apparently, there is a file that handles the passcodes within the file system. If you're jailbroken and have openSHH installed, you can ssh into your device and delete that file. Only problem is, I forgot what it was
