Hi all,

I've modded my psv1000 in the past, so decided to buy a pstv next to it.
Only issue is that my qcma is able to see a connection when trying to install the mod. But the pstv terminates the connection, so I'm unable to proceed the process.
Things I've tried till this point are:
Formatting the pstv
Rebuild database on pstv
Enabled/disabled dns on pstv
Updated to 3.68 in the hope that worked
Tried it over wifi and lan.
Switched from desktop to laptop in the hope it was a setting on my desktop.
Rebooted qcma several times.
Uninstalled/reinstalled it several times.
Played 400 times with drivers.
Killed my security programs.
Disabled the firewall on both modem and windows.
Tried different programs than qcma like FH-encore.

But everytime I try to connect the pstv by that gosh aweful sony program, I get a popup on my monitor with the code I have to fill in on the pstv, but everytime the pstv terminates the connection.

Is there anyone that has a solution for this problem?

Thanks.

try this; on your PC click the system tray, right click Sony content manager assistant and click exit, try qcma again

I've just found the solution.
Ok so the short version. If you run into issues connecting the pstv to your desktop or laptop, run your windows in safe mode with network functions.
Follow the instructions of auto h-encore, and you will be good to go.
If you run into issues with the update nags, try to run ps4-exploit-host, try again untill the files are copied.
shutdown the system and boot it in safe mode to rebuild the database. From that point continue with auto h-encore.

The PS4-exploit-host settings I used are from here:

(open network connections/"internet protocol version 4/fill in your:

ip address: 192 168 0 10 (last value anything)
subnet 255 255 2550
default gateway 192 168 0 1

fill in the dns from your internet provider ............. your network is pulling a new address very frequently, maybe, proxy related, maybe the microsoft search assistant in windows 10
..................
the vita is more stable with 64bit operating systems. maybe disable the internet protocol 6, proba..................bly don't need to that.

the sony software needs an internet connection to work (?) ... sony doesn't provide free internet service ................. well, microsoft did announce new piracy measures for the xbox one, and then discontinued before launch, they didn't get the memorial.
