If you don't care about cheats throw it away/sell it to whoever buys it, since if you don't care about cheats, cfw is far more safe, reliable and versatile

Just use both of 'em. You don't have to always use your Gateway, but it's still useful for stuff like romhacks and cheats and stuff. Having both is like having the best of both worlds.

Cheats and .3DS support. Otherwise, there's really no reason to keep it.
