Hacking Any point in owning more then one?

Is there any point in owning more then one type of DS flashcard? Like, I own an Acekard 2i already, would there be any point at all in my buying, say...an M3i Zero or something?

It depends on personal preference. If you think that the m3i is better than your ak2i then go ahead. It just depends on if you like what features your ak2i has or if you like what features m3i0 has.

I do like my Acekard 2i, but I don't really know if there's something better. I haven't actually tried any others.

is all up to you...
some would say get m3i0 because of the menu is dropdead gorgeous...
however, the main purpose of the flash cart is to play game

as long as the flash cart works on all the game that you wish to play

then why bother to get another one?

perhaps a SPARE for emergency? perhaps you got extra cash? collector?

as for update 1.4 ? i think is still too early for us to conclude anything

I'm adding an AceKard 2ki to my EZ-Flash Vi setup, merely because I can carry twice the number of games and utilities.

because you are only gonna use one flashcart that you like and other one is gonna be not used

Since flashcards have different features, you might want to get more than one if the flashcard you own doesn't have a feature you want and another flashcart does.

I will rather buy one really good card than getting two crappy cards

I only have more than one because I have the others in case something happens to one and it does not work anymore or at that moment like my r4 did before I got my AK2i and dstt. But I do not have a spare for dsi yet or I may never get one for it the AK2i is really good.

I think it is useful to have the best flashcarts on the Market, at least if you use a DSi (like EZ-Flash, Acekard 2i, Supercard DSONEi, M3i etc.) because when blocks like the 1.4 block happen you can just use the flashcart that is the first one to release a fix. I only own an iTouch2 and an Acekard 2i, but i think i should also get an EZ-Flash and the other ones i mentioned.
