I’ve had a bricked 3DS in my desk for a couple years now and I’m hoping to get it back in working order. I got the 3DS to run on CFW and everything was working fine. Until I accidentally upgraded it to the OFW of the time. Stupid move I know!
Next I found there was a work around to get to CFW from the OFW that I was currently on (I’m pretty sure it was steelhax through a friend’s CFW 3DS). When I went through the process, it bricked the 3DS. Through some digging, I found that it probably bricked because there were already CFW in the NAND and so it got confused when trying to get to CFW for the second time.
ALL THAT TO SAY
I have the original NAND file from before the mix up. Can I fix this by hard installing a USB port and rewriting the NAND? Are there still people I could hire to install the USB? Or is there some other work around I’ve not heard of from the years I’ve been away?
Any help is much appreciated!
