Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times (Similar to Animal Crossing, just that there's magic in this game)

suikoden tierkreis--that thing is peace of cake-PROMISE!!!!

Its like a dq or a ff game----but its very easy-you dont need to worry about the next boss or stronger enemies--its like its balance but if your used to playing turn based role playing games(i think)this game is very easy.

the game that fits your description--not too kiddy game--its just right.!!!

the Phoenix wright series Laidback? Are you freaking kidding me? I was like freaking screaming every single time That the prosecution objected, and it's really freaking stressful.

It didn't stress me out, actually, it relaxes me cause if I'm angry, I can take it out on witnesses XD

The Ace Attorney series is pretty laid back, although it requires you to think a lot.

This is definitely not easy-going for me. Somehow I make it really intense. xD

I can sometimes get slightly stressed playing this.

Harvest Moon maybe? Only played for a couple of hours, but Professor Layton seems pretty chill too.

Professor Layton stresses me when I'm stumped lol

I'd suggest a Mah-jong DS game, there's one that gives you life helpful quotes after you beat a level.

By "easy-going" I assume easy to get into or those that don't really emphasize on grinding and loads of time invested to do just one thing. These are all pretty easy to get into and are probably some of the funnest I've played:
  • Metal Slug 7 (Action side-scroller)
  • Fire Emblem - Shadow Dragon (tactics/RPG, no grind necessary)
  • Castlevania - Order of Ecclesia (action side-scroller)
  • Castlevania - Portrait of Ruin (^)
  • Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow (^)
  • Monster Rancher DS (similar to pokemon without walking)
  • Digimon World DS (kinda like pokemon)
  • Digimon World Dawn (^)
  • Harvest Moon (farming game)
  • Rune Factory 2 (similar to Harvest Moon)
  • Infinite Space (futuristic RPG with no grinding)
  • Megaman ZX/Advent - action side-scroller
  • Glory Days 2 (modern war RTS-ish game, casual fun)
  • New Super Mario Bros.
  • Yoshi's Island DS
  • Picross 3D (puzzle)
  • Time Hollow (similar to Again and Hotel Dusk Room 215)
  • Trauma Center - Under the Knife 1 & 2 (casual fun and friendly game, really good tbh)
  • Worms - Open Warfare
Prob a lot more but you'd have to be more specific lol.

Scribblenauts. It's a load of fun.

Sort of -- it stresses me out to the point of nearly tossing my DS because of controls problems, though.

This is an excellent choice.

The Rune Factory games. Think a cross between Action RPG and Harvest Moon. Great because you can kill the bosses whenever you feel like it.

True, but I have no problem to work a bit to get into the gameplay. I just hate the uneven difficulty level of most newer games. They begin easy and just as you are about to like them, they throw something heavily annoying at you. Or they get suddenly very complex, and you have no idea whether your chosen skills/items/whatever are good or you're about to completely mess up everything. Thats why I've mentioned Pokemon and Puzzle Quest, both have a very good learning curve and until you're not deliberately doing it, you really can't do something horribly wrong.
Thanks for all the recommendations, didn't think of getting so many replies

I would take SM64DS off that list because there are so many levels that you can fall off the side, etc due to sloppy controls and it gets really frustrating. Possibly Yoshi Touch & Go for the same reason.
