Hey there, my name is Jeremy. This is my first post. It is a question, but I am sure I will also be able to contribute the the forums as well
Ok, so I am currently using an R4 with a 2 gig Sandisk.
I love the DS for emulation of my favorite classic systems (mind you, I do OWN a copy of the game for any are-oh-ems I have), and it really does it well, better than the PSP imo, and thats from experience.
I have been having trouble getting StellaDS to work.
I extracted the contents (StellaDS.nds) to the root of my card, and added a folder titled "stellads" to house my roms, which is also in the root.
Upon trying to boot Stella, I get the error on the lower screen, "Cannot initialize media device." (black screen on both, white letters). Mind you I did try both version 6.0 and 7.0
I did not patch anything, because the R4 is supposed to auto patch DLDI.
I searched Youtube, and found a couple videos of people running Stella on R4, but I could find no support there, and the StellaDS homepage appears to be down at the current time.
Any clues as to why this is happening?
Thanks a million
