Hacking Question (Another!) Update question

Hi all,

Firstly i am banned so i have no more worries about trying to be safe online.
I can still do updates from the home screen, but i have noticed releases for games. E.g. Fifa 19 Update 101. My question is, is this just the update that is done on the home screen, for people who want to stay safe, or are these DLC's?

So you know that its a patch. Why are you then asking, if it is patch/update or dlc?

They're not asking about the FIFA update specifically, it was an example.

Updating a title from the home screen only installs the newest update for that title, not the DLC.
(Updates can include DLC assets, but you'd need to purchase/install the DLC nsp to activate it)

Edit: Rereading the last couple sentences, you have me a bit confused.
Are you asking if updating from the home menu includes DLCs, or if the update nsps found online include DLCs?
