Thank you SO MUCH!!!!! I was seriously going to download this and put it in my dropbox or something, but then I read your post, and looked at the new tab and saw error 509...traffic. Crap. My siblings and I got this like RIGHT after it came out so I guess I have NTSC v1. When it is available again I will try it out and mirror it. So I don't have to worry about figuring out how to check if the hash on my ISO is correct, correct?
I think you should check the hash on the ISO. I recommend HashTab (Google it) - It does take almost 5 mins to create the hash BTW. You should use CleanRip with IOS58 (IOS50 and HBC 1.0.8 required!) with a USB drive that is >6GB and formatted to NTFS (not needed, but recommended) Don't multi-part the ISO using CleanRip, all one piece!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm uploading it to MediaFire in multi-part archive (I can only upload 200MB files!).

I'll post it either early tomorrow morning OR tomorrow evening (I'll be busy 9 'til 4)

Hey jceggbert5 thanks for putting it up in multiple parts. Can i ask how do i open this, i been trying and cant figure it out.

Nice. Thanx a lot, jceggbert5!

And of course a good deal of thanks goes out to skawo65 as well. Great job, guys.

I really don't have time to download this, but I hope you AT LEAST put all the files in appropriate directories...
Most ISOs I've seen just dragged the Riivolution pack over to a NSMBW file dump, which skips most of the assets...

By the way, just to list issues you might ecounter while playing the iso:

-If you kill enemies in the ambush stages with Fireballs, the chest will not spawn unless you collect all the coins or wait until they dissappear. That was fixed by ASM.
-If you go into Peach's Castle, you will see a message talking about hint movies without the hint movie block in the level. That message was disabled via ASM.
-If you finish Toad Houses a message talking about Hint Movies will appear. Again, the block is not used in the game. These messages were disabled via ASM.
-If you wait on the title screen long enough, the game goes into a demo mode showing 4 players in a level. Because the levels were edited without recording the replays, they will flail around. It can even potentially lead to a crash if the replay started in an entrance the edited level doesn't have. The demo mode was disabled in the riivolution version via ASM.
-Weird 2-Castle. I don't know how it was edited to work. Riivolution patch hacks the game so the hardcoded stuff that makes editing the level hard is disabled.

Skawo: I've been playing it for a couple weeks, so I know it works. I've put everything that I know of in the right spots.

The 2-Castle fix I put in your thread is what is in this ISO - I just edited it hard

(It's worth a look over with Reggie! to see what I found out about the level)

Also, about the title screen, I left it on for hours one day just kinda watching the characters commit suicide constantly, and there was no crash. (P.S. I was just kinda watching that while doing my homework, I didn't waste hours just watching that

)

I've played it through 4-Tower via ISO, but I haven't had time to play it much more... I should be able to soon

Skawo is offline so I will answer for him:
Another does not work with Pal version 2... yet
it is coming asap though

follow the thread at rvlution.net HERE for updates
Thanks for the information.
You might try getting rid of all the tags in your XML file and then use the 02-24.arc file I put on (I think) page 22 of Skawo's thread over on RVLution. That should at least get you a playable version of the game, although it will SHARE a save file with NSMBWii.

Thanks to jceggbert5 and skawo96!!

Edit: Hm, whenever I try to apply the patch, I get this from xdelta:
xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT

help? what am I doing wrong? Has someone else got it to work fine?

Most likely, your game iso's checksum doesn't match what is requested (from the readme: ISO MD5 Hash: 0C6B88952F2FEB37B2A6669261A5D948). You need a clean copy of the iso, so no wbfs or patched shenanigans.

I've gotten it to work (now in the middle of world 2, and boy, do these levels look professional). Not with my own PALv2 retail disc, though.

No, that is the hash of the completed ISO.
CODE|ÂÂ Req ISO Hash: 05022377C66DCC13DD8308B333C202DBÂÂÂÂ |
That is the Required ISO Hash from the readme...

Cool! Glad you did!

[title: Here's my custom boxart

(It's just a fanmade NSMB boxart with NSMB's original back and the ASMB logo...)]

Excellent cover mate, prefer this to the other one.

Thanks for the USB patch, will attempt to play it over the next few days. Quite looking forward to trying this one.

Thanks Skawo for this new release, from the youtube vids it looks extremeley professional and more challenging than the original.
