Here is a review of the EZ-Flash V + Triple-pack I have been working on.

Some of the more interesting aspects covered include:

- Dipstar/PocketNES compatibility
- Tips, tricks and workarounds from the EZ-Flash V user community
- Homebrew compatibility

It's on a new site/blog so don't expect there to be too much else on the site.

Thanks for the link

Nice work scrawl, good to know cheating is possible with dipstar.

yes that means that the ez flash v is now the only slot 1 flash cart with a working cheat engine, since ds link is not out with theirs yet.

You should be able to use dipstar with any slot 1 cart as long as you also have a GBA style (i.e. no loader or menu) slot 2 cart.

Someone confirmed that it worked with the DS-X and F2A, and I think they got it to work with the F2A and a different slot 1 cart, but the search doesn't work for three letter keywords, so I can't find the threads right now.

You're right destructobot.

I actually used a Dipstar tutorial from the R4 forums to learn how to use it on the EZ-V Triple-pack.

The advantage of the EZ-FLash V bundle edition is that it includes both slot-1 and slot-2 components at a reasonable price.

If you do indeed have an F2A or old EZ-Flash handy, then the triple-pack offers no real advantage when it comes to running Dipstar (except perhaps sitting flush in your DS-Lite).

yes i am using my ez flash 1 on my R4 and it works, but yeah my bro got his expansion for his ev flash v and it works great,
